Consent mode in its basic version – as an implementation service, it is the optimal solution if you do not use paid Google ads and do not want to pay a subscription fee (e.g., on this website).

Consent mode for GTM – must be implemented if you use paid ads. Proper implementation of this solution requires modification of the modules and store template.

In the cookie module, we can set:

• Information position - top, fixed top, footer, fixed footer, lower left corner, lower right corner, display as a block
• Style for messages - Default black background with white font, reverse - white background with black font.
• URL of the link to the cookie policy - multilang

• Text for the accept button - multilang
• Text for the button - More - multilang
• Should the URL for the information open in a new window
• Cookie expiration time for the customer
• Automatic cookie acceptance - no need to click the button.
• The module is compatible with responsive mode - including iPad and Android devices

According to this document, among other things:

Cookies may only be stored on the user's device if this is necessary for the functioning of the website. For all other types of cookies (e.g., those used for marketing, statistical, or preference determination purposes), we need the user's permission, i.e., the user's explicit consent in this regard.

Checkboxes relating to these issues cannot be pre-selected for the customer. Without the customer's specific consent (selected by them independently for each processing purpose - separately for advertising and separately for analytics), only cookies that are necessary for displaying the website and processing the order may be processed.
