Price History & Omnibus is a comprehensive solution for WooCommerce stores that want to meet the requirements of the Omnibus Directive (2019/2161) in a fully automatic manner and in accordance with Polish law. The directive imposes an obligation to inform customers about the lowest price of the product in the last 30 days before the promotion is applied - the plug-in fulfills this requirement without any manual work on the part of the seller.
From the moment of activation, the plugin launches a recurring cron task (daily, twice a day or weekly - to choose from), which automatically scans all products and variants in the store and saves their regular and promotional prices in a dedicated database table. The price history is complete and continuous, regardless of whether the product was manually saved. Scheduled WooCommerce promotions are detected automatically, and each price change is recorded with an accurate time stamp.
On the product card and on the listing, the store displays information about the lowest price from the selected date range (default 30 days), in accordance with legal requirements. There are two display modes:
For products with variants, Omnibus data is updated dynamically on the browser side - each variant returns its own price history, so that the customer always sees the correct information for the selected attribute combination. There is also a shortcode [ph_omnibus] to manually embed information anywhere on a page or template.
The built-in campaign module allows you to manage promotions for entire product groups from one tab in the administration panel. The campaign can be narrowed down to a selected category, tag, attribute, brand or all products in the store. Two types of discount are supported: percentage and amount. Each campaign can have a date range (from-to) set - the cron task automatically starts and ends promotions on the scheduled date without the need for manual intervention. Campaigns are recorded in the database, which allows a full audit of the price history.
