Updating inventory levels from a file
The library prepared by our company allows you to update store inventory from any CSV, XML, or Excel file, or to update between two PrestaShop stores. In order to optimize this process, we have prepared our own database queries. The update is performed by comparing products in the file by reference number or EAN code. The proposed solution does not require a subscription.

The solution provided is ideal if you have inventory and can export it from any sales management application, such as Subiekt or Stream Soft. It is possible to prepare a library that compares any value from the file with the one in the database. The library supports product combinations. Update mode:
- full update - set all products to 0 and update the status
- modified update - set the inventory status only for the products found.
The store update time is a few seconds for 30,000 products. The library can be run in a cron task. Then the update process will run automatically after finding the file in the specified location. In the case of inventory synchronization between stores, two libraries are provided to generate xml on the source store and to update the status on the target store. You can also use push technology, i.e., capturing data from a URL, e.g., from Google Sheets.
After ordering the service, please send a file with stock levels in response to the email.
The downloadable attachments include a sample Excel file [xlsx] with inventory levels. The data file can look any way you want. During the integration process, we will adjust the library to ensure proper operation.
